How to Cook :
Soak 1 cup Chana Dal for 1/2 to 1 hr in 6 cups water & boil. Cook & puree it. Add salt. Heat oil & add spices (1 tbsp Cumin Seeds, 1 tsp Black Mustard Seeds, 1 Green Chilli Grated, ½ tbsp Ginger Grated, ¼ tsp Asafoetida, 1 ½ tsp Turmeric ). Pour Spice Mixture into Chana Dal puree & Serve Hot! Used to make Dal Fry, Soups, Curries, Dal Pakwan & Gravy Vegetables. Dal Bati. |
