Millet Ven Pongal

Ingredients

  • Kodo millet rice – 125g
  • Little millet rice – 125g
  • Barnyard millet rice – 125g
  • Foxtail millet rice – 125g
  • Green gram dhal -300g
  • Cashew nut – 100g
  • Curry leaves – 20g
  • Cumin – 30g
  • Pepper – 30g
  • Ginger – 20g
  • Salt – as required
  • Oil – as required

Method

  • Fry all the ingredients except rice with ghee.
  • Cook the millet rice with three parts of water.
  • Cook one part of instant pongal mix
