| *How to Cook* : Ingredients:
5 tbsp tomato sauce
200 ml black vinegar
10 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp sesame oil
5 tbsp vegetarian oyster sauce
5 tbsp oil
200 grams black pepper
Steps:
Grind black pepper corns coarsely till medium fine.
Slow toast black pepper in a pan until fragrant.
Heat oil in a pan and add all ingredients.
Stir in low heat for 3 minutes.
Let the sauce cool and store in the refrigerator for up to a month.
Tips & Variations:
Adjust the amount of sugar and soy sauce to taste.
Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor.
Use different types of vinegar (e.g., apple cider, balsamic) for a unique flavor profile.
Experiment with adding other spices or herbs (e.g., garlic, ginger, thyme) to create your signature flavor. Tasty seasoning for cooked & boiled vegetables, pasta, noodles, spaghetti, bakes, soups, rasam, dals, to add spice to sprouts, salads, chaat & curd raita. Complements other seasonings – turmeric, cardamom, cumin, garlic, and lemon zest. Boil in oil for hair growth and other external remedies. Use instead of chilli in Indian cooking.
